Merry Christmas!

I really liked the UT2004 Halo Blood Gulch conversion by Shane Transue (available over at UnrealPlayground), but I thought it could have made better use of UT2k4's static meshes, and could maybe benefit from a facelift.  This is my attempt at giving it a slightly different theme.  I used the general scale of Shane's map (distance between bases, basic item/vehicle layout) but redid all of the terrain, static mesh placement, and completely rebuilt the BSP for the bases.  I made quite a few custom static meshes (trees, cliffs, caves, ground cover brush) and compiled some custom photo-based textures to give it a "high-plains" feel.  It is slightly asymetrical so I can't vouch yet for how balanced (or imbalanced) the gameplay is.  I more or less scale it for my YARM mod so it might feel a tad small for the normal UT2k4 gameplay.

-fixed collision on soem trees (sort of...)
-changed weapon pickups a bit at each base (added Weaponlockers and an AVRIL)
-placed karma blocking volume around ruin to simplify vehicle collision with it
-added more rock static meshes as cover along with a few trees
-bumped out fade distance for whiteish foliage just a tad
-added trim BSP to base
