RedRaven's Custom Crosshair pack (requires patch 413 or above)

NOTE: If you have already added custom crosshairs you may need to modify the line numbers suggested below.

Title:    Drop Circles
Type: Crosshair Pack for Unreal Tournament
Author:   Rick 'RedRaven' Burlow
Date:     May 02, 2000
Location: Sydney, Australia
Purpose: A set of bold crosshairs with an alternative Inca feel, based on 'crop circles'. My eyesight isn't all that great, so the default crosshairs feel too thin or tiny. These new ones are great for larger monitors too.

Installation Instructions:

Ensure that your version of Unreal Tournament is v4.13 or greater. The version number is visible in the top right of the UT 'desktop'.

Extract the files "DropCircles.utx" to your UnrealTournament\Textures directory. Do the same with the "DropCircles.txt" file for future reference should you need it.

Use a text editor (like NotePad) to open your User.ini file in your Unrealtournament\System directory. Find and change the following line,

CrosshairCount=9

to read...

CrosshairCount=19 (or add ten if you already have other crosshairs added)

then add the following lines after the line "Crosshairs[8]=Botpack.CHair9"
(TIP: just cut and paste from this document)

CrossHairs[9]=DropCircles.DC01
CrossHairs[10]=DropCircles.DC02
CrossHairs[11]=DropCircles.DC03
CrossHairs[12]=DropCircles.DC04
CrossHairs[13]=DropCircles.DC05
CrossHairs[14]=DropCircles.DC06
CrossHairs[15]=DropCircles.DC07
CrossHairs[16]=DropCircles.DC08
CrossHairs[17]=DropCircles.DC09
CrossHairs[18]=DropCircles.DC10

Load Unreal Tournament. The new Drop Circles crosshairs should be available for you to use from the HUD tab in the Preferences menu.

Special thanks to GarF for his assistance.

You may use this pack anywhere provided this text file is included, and all files remain unchanged and intact.
