(zp| readme)

This file tells you how to install Zeroping. For information on using
Zeroping, see the release notes (installaed to your Unreal Tournament
directory, in Help/Zeroping.html).

========================================================================

  WARNING:

  The file "zp_modify_ini_v100.umod" is for server administrators only!
  See "Notes for Server Admins" below on how to use it.

========================================================================

What these umods do:

- zeroping_v100.umod: Installs Zeroping server files and release notes.
  Not necessary to play online.

- zp_modify_ini_v100.umod: Allows server administrators to start online
  games. SHOULD NOT be used by players.

Which umods to install:

- To play Zeroping online, you don't need to install anything.

- If want to play Zeroping practice sessions, install "Zeroping_v100.umod".
  There's not much point to this, since there's no lag in practice
  sessions anyway.

- To run a Zeroping game server on the Internet, install BOTH
  "Zeroping_v100.umod" and "zp_modify_ini_v100.umod". Be careful, though:
  you'll have to change your UnrealTournament.ini later if you want to
  start a game without Zeroping. See "Notes for Server Admins" below.

How to install a umod:

- Double-click on a umod to install it.

- If that doesn't work, extract the umod to a temporary directory and
  then use Start | Run to run the following command:

   C:\UnrealTournament\System\Setup.exe install <the umod's name>.umod

  ...with the proper directory and file names in there.

Notes for Server Administrators:

 To run a Zeroping game server, you'll need a new line added to the file
 "UnrealTournament.ini". You can add this line automatically, but you'll
 have to delete it manually to remove Zeroping.

 The line goes at the bottom of the Engine|GameEngine section
 of C:/UnrealTournament/System/UnrealTournament.ini (or wherever UT is).
 The line is:

    ServerPackages=Zeroping_v100

 If you choose to add it manually, this line should come after all other
 "ServerPackages=" lines.

 If you want to add this line automatically, double-click on
 "zp_modify_ini_v100.umod", and follow instructions (that's all this umod
 does).

 Either way, you MUST manually remove this line to do any of the following:

 - Start a server without a Zeroping mutator active
 - Install a new version of Zeroping
 - Uninstall Zeroping

 To start a server with Zeroping, select one (and ONLY one) of the ZP
 mutators that appear in your mutator list. See the release notes for
 more information.
